Responsible To:                             Mountain Host Team Leader, Base Operations Manager


Position Summary:

To provide efficient and accurate information to ensure a memorable guest experience at Treble Cone. To safely and efficiently welcome all guests and coordinate traffic (bus, car and pedestrian) in and around our base area and car parks. To effectively engage with and manage guest issues, queues and scan lift tickets at the lift stations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist guests proactively with information regarding products and the ski area, providing accurate lift status and weather condition information.
  • Receive guest complaints and compliments – this includes dealing directly with dissatisfied guests and providing them with positive solutions.
  • Work as part of a team to set up, maintain safe and neat car park control systems at all times and pull down on a daily basis.
  • Accurately fill out daily car count logs and car park checks.
  • Maximize vehicle numbers parked in carparks through efficient vehicle parking.
  • Maintain safe driving and walking surfaces in the car parks and Base Area through hazard identification and implementing controls as trained
  • Maintain the presentation of Lift Stations, Base Areas and Car Parks.
  • Control queues through guest engagement optimising the flow of skiers onto the chair lifts.
  • Scan all tickets at the lift stations and resolve any issues with the aim of delivering a positive guest experience every time.
  • Immediately report any safety concerns to you Team Leader or Manager.
  • Assist in any other department’s duties where required.



  • Immediately report any safety concerns to the Base Area Supervisor or Maintenance Manager.
  • To be knowledgeable about all Treble Cone products and ticket options as trained.
  • Maintain a patient, confident and friendly manner with all guests at all times.
  • Work with integrity to uphold Treble Cone’s core values of teamwork, honesty, professionalism and respect.
  • To consistently provide exceptional Customer Service to all guests, both internal and external.
  • Adhere to Treble Cone’s Staff Health and Safety Policy, Processes and in-house Safety Rules as detailed in the Staff Handbook.
  • Comply with Treble Cone’s Injury Prevention programme.
  • Attend all departmental and company meetings as required.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality with respect to the functions and services performed for the Company.
  • Maintain a neat, tidy and professional appearance at all times, in compliance with the Treble Cone Uniform and Appearance Policy.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and good timekeeping by checking your required hours of work and ensuring you start work on time.
  • Accurately record your times of work on a timesheet as required.

  • Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise work load.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to be self-managed.
